Surge in demand for Ram Mandir models abroad ahead of January installation
The demand for these models has surged significantly since the commencement of Ram Mandir construction, leading to a notable 10 percent surge in business.
Ayodhya: In the city of Ayodhya, excitement is building as the consecration program for the Ram Mandir, set to take place on January 22, approaches. As per reports, Something intriguing is happening - the demand for replicas of the Ram Mandir models has surged, not just within India but also in foreign countries. Aditya Singh, who owns a factory manufacturing these models, shared, "We have been doing this work for the past three years. Earlier, the orders used to come from within India; now they are coming from outside, as well as from multiple departments like the police, court, electricity department and CBI branch. There is a demand for models among saints and for marriage functions as well."
Surprisingly, the demand has expanded to foreign lands, with Aditya Singh mentioning a request from the United States for a larger-sized Ram Mandir model. "We got a call from America saying that they wanted a Ram Mandir model. We sent them all the details and they said that they wanted a bigger size, which they will order through the ships," he stated. The ordered model is colossal, measuring eight feet in length, approximately four and a half feet in width, and standing about five feet tall. Aditya Singh estimated the price of this model to range between Rs 90,000 and Rs 1 lakh.
The demand for these models has surged significantly since the commencement of Ram Mandir construction, leading to a notable 10 percent surge in business, according to Aditya Singh. Lallu Singh, BJP MP from Ayodhya, expressed his thoughts on this soaring demand, saying, "The increase in demand for the Ram Mandir model even in foreign countries shows how Lord Ram resides in the hearts of the people around the globe. This has also provided employment opportunities for workers over here."
The upcoming installation of Ram Lalla's idol at the grand temple on January 22 is highly anticipated, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to attend. Preparations are in full swing for the event, expected to draw dignitaries and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Notably, Vishwa Hindu Parishad has extended invitations to former deputy prime minister LK Advani and Union minister Murli Manohar Joshi for the grand consecration of the Ram Temple.
Amidst these preparations, ANI reported that the citizens of Ayodhya are delighted about the fresh avenues of income generated through donations from tourists, both from India and abroad, in appreciation for the hospitality offered during their visit. The enthusiasm surrounding the Ram Mandir models showcases the significance of this monumental occasion and the widespread reverence for Lord Ram.
