Syed Shahnawaz Hussain: Govt will be formed soon in Maharashtra

BJP national spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain on Wednesday said that "a mandate has been received in Maharashtra to make the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena as the leading government". He assured that the mandate will be respected and a government will be formed soon. The two parties are at a tug-of-war over the post of Chief Minister in Maharashtra.
On Priyanka Gandhi's remarks over the Indian economy
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi on Monday speaking about the Indian economy and India's purported entry into RCEP had SAID, "The BJP government was going to hand over the national interest of India to foreign countries by crushing the interests of the farmers of India." Apart from this, the opposition party has been constantly attacking the Modi government over the economic slowdown. On Monday, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that opposition parties will hold a joint protest on issues such as economic slowdown, farm distress and unemployment during the winter session of parliament. Referring to these remarks, Hussain said:
"Our PM is inviting everyone from around the world to India. The biggest benefit of America and China's trade war is to India. All the countries in the world know that India has a stable government with no corruption. This is why FDIs are coming to India in heavy numbers. This is the reason Priyanka Gandhi and Congress is angry."
'Nehru was not a part of INC'
Speaking about the reconstitution of the Nehru memorial, the BJP national spokesperson said, "Nehru was not in INC, he was the Prime Minister of the country. So, why is Congress saying that only Congress party people can be a part of the Nehru memorial?" Recently, the government reconstituted the Nehru memorial panel by removing Congressmen Mallikarjun Kharge, Jairam Ramesh and Karan Singh as its members. According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the president of the society and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh the vice president.

On Ayodhya judgement
Speaking about Ayodhya judgement, the BJP spokesperson said, "Whatever verdict is given, we will accept it. It is not about winning or losing. I am sure the judgement will be for the betterment of the country."
The Ayodhya matter is currently being heard by five Supreme Court judges. The verdict is supposed to be out between November 4 and 15.
