Coimbatore: Significant development for the city as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a new 3.8 km long flyover connecting Ukkadam and Athupalam.

The project, undertaken by the Highways Department at a cost of Rs. 481 crore, is expected to drastically reduce travel time between Ukkadam and Pollachi and Palakkad.

The flyover, with its impressive ramps and modern infrastructure, is a testament to the state government's commitment to improving transportation facilities in the region.

The construction, which spanned over six years, has finally brought relief to commuters who have endured severe traffic congestion in the Ukkadam-Athupalam area for years.
