Telangana: IT raids at premises linked to Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy

Telangana: Income Tax officers conducted searches on Monday at the home of Telangana Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy's close relatives in Hyderabad, in a significant step ahead of the forthcoming assembly elections. The search was centred on Pradeep, a relative who lives in a Gachibowli flat. Concurrently, the homes of additional relatives close to Minister Reddy were investigated.

In addition, I-T officials are currently conducting raids at a well-known pharmaceutical company in Hyderabad. The searches are being carried out at 15 various sites throughout the city, including the pharma company owner's home and the offices of the company's employees. According to sources, Kotla Narendra Reddy, who works in marketing at Dr Reddy's Lab, al leading pharma company, is connected to the ongoing probe. These developments intensify the political situation in Telangana at the assembly polls draw closer.
