New Delhi: An employee at the Chhajarsi toll plazaa was severely injured after being hit head-on by a speeding car in Pilkhuwa, Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district.  The incident was caught on a CCTV camera, where the employee could be seen desperately trying to evade the speeding vehicle before being struck.  The collision was so powerful that the toll plaza employee was lifted off the ground before landing on the hood of the car due to the sheer force of the impact.    

The toll worker was rushed to a private hospital. His condition is said to be critical. Speaking to reporters, shift In-charge of Chhajarsi Toll Plaza Pushpendra noted, "At around 2:30 AM, a speeding car came and in order to save toll charges, the car tossed our toll worker who was standing there. Our staff member is seriously injured and was taken to hospital by our staff. He is currently admitted in ICU."
