Trump: wireless tech can be 'tool for freedom'

US President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a statement following talks in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Trump said the two leaders discussed the importance of "secure" access to 5G wireless technology which is used as a tool for "freedom and prosperity" rather than "suppression and censorship".

He also said Washington and New Delhi would work more closely together on counter-narcotics, including tackling the "growing threat" of opioid production.
