Two motorbikes collide, 7-year-old boy among three killed

The accident took place at around 7 pm on Wednesday on Kukru-Khamla road near Lahar village, when five people were travelling on the two vehicles.

Betul: A 28-year-old man, his 7-year-old son and another person were killed after the two motorbikes collided head-on in Madhya Pradesh's Betul district.

Bhainsdehi police station inspector Anjana Dhurve told news agency PTI that the accident took place at around 7 pm on Wednesday on Kukru-Khamla road near Lahar village, when five people were travelling on the two vehicles.

Three persons, identified as Suresh Gannu Barskar (30), Ravindra Kasdekar (28) and his son Priyanshu (3), died on the spot, the official said.

Meanwhile, two other persons suffered injuries and have been admitted to a nearby community health centre, she added.

As of now, the police have registered a case in connection with the incident and further investigations are underway.
