The 'Know Your Army' festival acts as a precursor to the Army Day parade scheduled for January 15 in Lucknow. This is the second time that the event is being held outside New Delhi. The decision to rotate the parade's venue annually aims not only to diversify locations but also to highlight the unique roles of different commands in national defense. Moreover, it provides an opportunity to emphasise the diverse cultural and regional contexts within which the Army operates.
