New Delhi: As heavy rain pounded the national capital on Friday morning, leaving several areas severely waterlogged, BJP Councillor Ravinder Singh Negi rowed an inflatable boat on a flooded road as a symbolic protest against the AAP government over the "collapsing" infrastructure in the city.

A video has surfaced which shows Negi rowing a boat on the flooded road near NH-9. The Councillor from Vinod Nagar ward, which is a part of Patparganj Assembly Constituency, lashed out at the AAP govt in the state, blaming them for the severed waterlogging in the the national capital.

He said that all PWD drains were overflowing, further fuelling the waterlogging woes. Lashing out at AAP, he said that the AAP is ruling the city and the MCD. Despite their double-engine govt, they didn't clean the drains which has led to waterlogging, he added. He attacked the AAP for protesting over water crisis but failing to do preparation ahead of the monsoon season.

He said, “...All PWD drains are overflowing. They didn't get it cleaned ahead of Monsoon. This has led to waterlogging...Vinod Nagar has submerged...”
