New Delhi: Hindu and Sikh activists staged a massive protest outside the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi on Sunday against the attack by a pro-Khalistan mob on a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada.
Multiple barricades were set up by Police to ensure law and order around the Canadian High Commission in the Chanakyapuri after several organizations called for the protest.
Several protestors were seen scaling the police barricaded as they raised slogans and carried placards with messages such as “Hindus and Sikhs are united” and “Indians will not tolerate the insult of temples in Canada.”
Why is the Sikh Community Protesting?
The protests are a response to an incident that occurred on November 4 when Khalistani supporters allegedly attacked devotees outside Brampton's Hindu Sabha Mandir during a consular camp.

Gosal, an associate of the late Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, faces charges of assault with a weapon.
