VIDEO: Sacked BPO Employee Stabs Bus Conductor in Bengaluru’s Whitefield After Argument
The Whitefield Police arrested a 25-year-old man on Tuesday evening after he stabbed a conductor.
Bengaluru: The Whitefield Police arrested a 25-year-old man on Tuesday evening after he stabbed a conductor at Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).
As per reports the accused has been identified as Harsh Sinha, a native of Jharkhand and the victim who was stabbed was 45-year-old named Yogesh.
Sinha was traveling on the BMTC Volvo bus (KA 57 F 0015) when the conductor warned him not to stand near the door while the bus was in motion. In a fit of rage, the accused stabbed him.
Reportedly, Harsh Sinha used to work in BPO in the city but got fired on the 20th of September.
The driver eloped the situation and jumped out by locking the door.
Sinha was seen grabbing a hammer and began vandalizing the bus. The incident occurred around 7 pm near Vydehi Circle in Whitefield, according to police.
The injured is currently being treated at Vydehi Hospital and police have arrested Sinha.
Further investigation on the matter is ongoing.
