Bulandshahar: An eight-foot-long crocodile came out of the canal at Narora Ganga Barrage in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr.
A video of the reptile trying to go back into the water has gone viral on the internet. The incident triggered panic among people near the area.

The forest department and police reached the spot and worked to rescue the struggling reptile.
Similar instances have occurred in the city. In October 2022, a giant 10-foot-long crocodile triggered panic among residents in Bulandshahr's Kasba Pahasu. Following this, locals tried to catch and drive away the crocodile, however, failed to do so. The forest department and police reached the spot immediately and were able to catch the reptile after three hours.

After the crocodile was caught, the officials tied its hands and legs, and people carried it on their shoulders and left him at a safe place.
