Mumbai:  Amid the nationwide outrage over the Pune Porsche crash, a new video has surfaced on social media showing a man speeding in his Mercedes on Mumbai's Coastal Road Tunnel, blatantly ignoring the 60 kmph speed limit. The man, identified as content creator Gajodhar Singh Cool, was recorded driving at speeds between 80 to 103 kmph.

In the video, he is heard boasting, "I can drive anyhow. I am aware of the hack and have kept a 300-word essay ready. Now, no one can stop me," apparently referencing the recent Pune incident where a super rich brat, who killed two techies in Kalyani Nagar, was granted bail within 15 hours of the accident.

What is the speed limit on Mumbai's Coastal Tunnel Road?

During a trial run on the Mumbai Coastal Road, civic authorities set the maximum speed limit at 80 kmph for major sections, including reclamation stretches, and 60 kmph for the tunnel. Despite these regulations, a video has surfaced showing content creator Gajodhar Singh Cool blatantly violating these limits. The footage reveals Singh driving his Mercedes at speeds up to 103 kmph, far exceeding the established speed limits.

300-word essay

The video undoubtedly surfaced in reference to the recent Pune crash involving a luxurious Porsche. In that incident, the accused, allegedly a minor, drove at a shocking speed of 160 kmph. Instead of facing severe legal punishment, he was asked to produce a 300-word essay expressing remorse for his actions during the investigation. This leniency has sparked public outrage and may have influenced the behavior seen in the video of Gajodhar Singh Cool.

Pune Porsche Crash

Earlier in the day, a Pune court remanded the father of a juvenile allegedly involved in the Porsche car crash in police custody till May 31 in a case of alleged kidnapping and wrongful confinement of the family driver. The court also extended the police custody of the juvenile's grandfather till May 31 in the same case. Both the accused were produced before Judicial Magistrate First Class A A Pande. They have been booked under Indian Penal Code sections 365 (kidnapping) and 368 (wrongfully concealing or keeping in confinement).

Two IT professionals died after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding Porsche allegedly driven by the minor in the early hours of May 19 in the Kalyani Nagar area of Pune city. The police claim the teenager was drunk at the time of the accident.

The juvenile's father, realtor Vishal Agarwal (50), is already in judicial custody in a case registered against him and the managers and owners of two pubs under the Juvenile Justice Act. The police have alleged that Vishal Agrawal and his father Surendra Agrawal (77) pressure on the driver to take the blame for the accident by offering him money and giving him threats. Surendra Agrawal was arrested in this connection on May 25 and then remanded in police custody till May 28.
