A new 15-second wedding video of Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raja Raghuvanshi has gone viral on social media. This comes amid serious allegations against Sonam, who has been arrested in connection with her husband's murder during their honeymoon in Meghalaya.

The video, which surfaced online recently, shows Raja joyfully applying sindoor to Sonam's forehead during their wedding ceremony. While Raja's face radiates happiness, Sonam's expression appears more subdued, hinting at underlying emotions. The video, believed to have been recorded in Indore. However, Republic TV has not verified the authenticity of the video.

Timeline of Raja Raghuvanshi Murder Case

On May 23, 2025, Raja and Sonam, a newly married couple from Indore, went missing during their honeymoon in Meghalaya. On June 2, Raja’s decomposed body was found in a deep gorge near Wei Sawdong Falls in Sohra. After further investigation, Sonam was found in a distressed condition at a roadside eatery in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, and arrested on June 8.

Police believe that Sonam planned Raja’s murder with the help of her alleged boyfriend, Raj Kushwaha. Call records showed frequent contact between Sonam and Raj, pointing to a possible secret relationship. Investigators also suspect that Raj, along with two other men Anand and Vicky Thakur helped carry out the crime. A local guide in Meghalaya supported the investigation by reporting that he had seen the couple with unknown men before they went missing.

Sonam’s family strongly denies the charges. Her father, Devi Singh Raghuvanshi, says Sonam is innocent and was forced into the situation. He has asked for a CBI inquiry, saying he does not trust the way the Meghalaya Police are handling the case.
