Kolkata: Sukanta Majumdar, the president of the West Bengal BJP, announced on Saturday the selection of 42 constituency-specific Lok Sabha in-charges.

According to the announcement, Nityananda Munshi has been designated by Sukanta Majumdar as the Jalpaiguri in-charge, while Anandamoy Barman holds the joint in-charge position.

 The person designated as the coordinator for Cooch Behar is Amitava Moitra. While, Sushanta Rava is the joint in-charge of Alipurduar, while Sushil Barman has taken over as the new in-charge. 

On the other hand, Bishal Lama has been designated as the in-charge for Darjeeling, with Gobindo Roy and Sukra Munda acting in tandem.

The BJP is making ongoing efforts to strengthen its organisational structure in West Bengal ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. (With inputs from ANI)
