Why did the CISF constable slap Kangana?

Back in 2020-21 when the Farmer's Protest gained prominence, Ranaut misidentified a woman farmer from Punjab and ended up calling her Bilkis Bano, an octogenarian who grabbed eyeballs during the anti-CAA protests which were going on in Shaheen Bag Delhi.

She had retweeted the post with pictures of two separate elderly ladies and wrote that the 'Same Dadi who featured in Time Magazine' was available for 100 rupees'.

While addressing the entire matter on her Instagram story, Ranaut also said:

A CISF personnel hit me on my face and hurled abuses. When I asked why she did that, she said she supported the farmers' protests. I am safe. But I am concerned about the rising extremism and terrorism in Punjab

The shocking incident took place when Kangana was about to board a flight to Delhi at 3:30 pm. The BJP leader is now linking the entire incident to the rising extremism in the valley of five rivers. As of now, an inquiry committee comprising CISF officers has been put in place to investigate the entire string of incidents that took place.

Ranaut emerged victorious over Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh with a margin of 74,755 votes. Her final vote tally was 5,37, 022 votes
