Chandigarh: Amidst all the controversy gripping around Kangana Ranaut slapgate incident, the FIR registered by the Chandigarh police on the complaint given by a CISF inspector escorting BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, claimed that the CISF constable identified as Kulwinder Kaur first stopped the newly-elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport and then slapped her. In his complaint, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Inspector Surendra Kumar Sharma stated that Kaur suddenly came out from her frisking booth and unwarrantedly slapped Kangana. The accused was then immediately pushed away by a woman police constable in order to protect the BJP MP from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat.

Reports claimed that Kangana Ranaut arrived at the Chandigarh airport on June 6 to board a Delhi-bound Vistara flight, during which she was reportedly being escorted by a CISF inspector, 2 women police personnel and Vistara airline staff.

As per the FIR registered by the police, Kangana Ranaut was on June 6, travelling from Chandigarh to Delhi by Vistara flight no UK-707, which was scheduled to take off at 3.45 pm.

Ranaut, reached the airport and at about 3.26 pm, she cleared the pre-embarkation security check (PESC) formalities duly assisted by CISF Inspector Surendra Kumar Sharma and two woman constables along with airlines staff.

It has reportedly been mentioned in the FIR that after the completion of the security check formalities, Kangana Ranaut was proceeding towards boarding gate, when in the meantime, the accused CISF woman constable, Kulwinder Kaur deployed there came out from her frisking booth and slapped Ranaut.

As soon as the incident happened, the accused CISF constable was pushed by the woman constable escorting the BJP MP. However, after the incident, Kangana Ranaut left the spot and proceeded for her scheduled flight.

Later, on the complaint of the CISF inspector, a FIR was registered by the Chandigarh police and a probe was initiated. The police also claimed that in the CCTV footage accessed by the police, it was seen that Ranaut was stopped by Kaur, was slapped and misbehaved too.

On the other hand, after the incident a video had also surfaced, wherein accused Kulwinder Kaur was seen shouting out about her reason for slapping Kangana Ranaut. In the purported video, she was captured saying that she slapped Kangana due to the remark she made during the farmer’s protest and cited that her mother was also protesting during the demonstration.
