'You're a Star in the World': Jaishankar 'Blushes' as Diplomat Showers Praises on EAM | WATCH

Geneva: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar received high praise during an interaction with Ambassador Jean-David Levitte at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy on Thursday. 

In their conversation, Levitte referred to Jaishankar as "a star," drawing a modest reaction from the Indian diplomat.  

Earlier on Thursday, Jaishankar arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, where he began his visit by paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. During the trip, he is scheduled to meet the Swiss Foreign Minister to review the strong partnership between India and Switzerland and explore opportunities to further strengthen bilateral ties.  

 Jaishankar also met WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Thursday and discussed India's cooperation with the global health body, including in the areas of traditional medicine and public health initiatives.
