Viral News: An unexpected and repulsive surprise was waiting for a Mumbai man who had purchased food online from the renowned Leopold Cafe via Swiggy for Christmas Eve. The renowned Colaba cafe's Chicken in Oyster Sauce, which photographer Ujwal Puri had bought online, surprised him when he discovered a medication tablet within. On December 24, he posted the images on X, which included a video and some pictures. He added, “I got this half-cooked medicine in my food from my Mumbai Christmas Surprise order from Swiggy from Leopold Colaba.”

Ujwal posted a video and stated, "Just discovered this in my food from Leopold (Chicken in Oyster Sauce)." Swiggy replied to the message that was gaining traction on the social media platform, stating, "We have got your DM, see you there." A Swiggy official responded with another message, saying, "We expect better from our restaurant partners, Ujwal. Please give us a moment as we investigate this.

In the meantime, a lot was said on the internet. "Over time, Leopold's meal quality has declined. Well, this is a record low! One X user wrote, "What a way to run a Christmas meal." "Gosh, I'm glad they sent you a medication so your stomach wouldn't become upset. Swiggy, Really? " A different user made a snarky comment. On Ujwal's post, another commenter wrote, “Lol this is flexon tablet which is used for pain which he is getting now due to Swiggy.”

One of the locations targeted during the 2008 Mumbai attacks was Leopold Cafe, which was established in 1871.
