Pune traffic police makes big stride to fight drunk driving- Check before planning new year party

Pune: Strict precautions are being put in place by the Pune traffic police to combat driving while intoxicated and to guarantee the security and orderly conduct of New Year's Eve festivities. To maintain a festive mood and protect the people, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vijay Kumar Magar emphasized the significance of driving responsibly and adhering to traffic restrictions.

On December 30 and 31, the police want to raise the visibility of law enforcement officers at numerous crossroads throughout the city in order to accomplish this goal. Their primary goal is to keep an eye out for and discourage any instances of drunk driving. In addition, more than 200 breath analyzers will be utilized to determine drivers' alcohol consumption, adding another level of security to guarantee everyone has a safe and enjoyable celebration.
