Bollywood songs have given us many hook steps that have stayed with us for a long time. Be it Salman Khan’s iconic Dabangg step, Kangana Ranaut’s London Thumakda or Hrithik Roshan’s Ek Pal Ka Jeena, these steps can be performed by any individual, whether it is at a family function or a friend’s birthday party. Safe to say, you can easily pull off these dance moves. So as the wedding season is around the corner, here are a few of the famous dance moves that you could perform and surprise the crowd with.

Simple dance steps for beginners 

The quintessential Punjabi thumka. This step is danced at most of the Punjabi weddings and is one of the famous steps.

This hook step is performed by Amir Khan and is from the song Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe from the movie Dil Chahta hai.

The all-time favourite Ek Pal Ka Jeena step. The steps had created a buzz while also being mocked as a move that looked like pushing the furniture.

The song Matargashti is from the film Tamasha. this is a simple step which could be performed at any function. In the clip, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are seen taking a few steps and kicking their legs behind.

This hook step is from the film Krrish 3. The still is from the song God, Allah Aur Bhagwan. The step could simply be performed by imagining that you are hitting the wall with a hammer.
