The Swacch Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) or the Swacch Bharat Mission (SBM), a scheme by the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government was launched five years back. The scheme was launched on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, that is celebrated on 2nd October every year.
Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called the campaign “Satyagraha se Swacchagraha”.
However, seems like our favourite cartoon character Chota Bheem has been inspired by our Prime Minister and has joined the Swachh Bharat movement. Recently, a comic book has been released which portrays the cartoon character Bheem in various situations, trying to take up the initiative of 'Clean India' and encouraging his friends to take it up too!
Have a look!
The comic book has been titled as 'Chota Bheem Swachh Bharat Run' where the cartoon character can be seen holding a broom while standing next to the Prime Minister and his friend 'Chutki'.
Since its launch, the Swacchta Abhiyan was hugely popular and turned into a national movement. It has evoked a sense of responsibility in the citizens towards cleanliness and sanitation. People from all wakes of life have come together to support PM Modi in his initiative for a cleaner India. The Swacch Bharat Mission has transformed the lives of Indians significantly.
It is a nationwide campaign that aims for cleaning up roads, infrastructure and streets.
In 2018, PM Modi praised the population of India saying that he feels proud of how the country adopted the movement and made it the largest people’s movement in the world.
