2024 horoscope: Chinese astrology decodes lucky zodiac signs

Chinese astrology categorizes people in 12 zodiac signs. It is different from mainstream astrology in a manner that one’s birth year is what determines their zodiac. It all started centuries ago when the Jade Emperor was finding a way to measure time for his people. 

Also known as Shengxiao, the Chinese Zodiac is a repeating cycle of 12 years. Each year, however, is represented by a different animal. In order, the 12 animals are Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. 

With the advent of a New year, a new horoscope will come into being. As per the Chinese zodiac system, these will be the most lucky signs in the year of the dragon, that is, 2024. 

Pig 

Born in 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019

Strengths: Peaceful, kind, honest, optimistic, and fun-loving

Weaknesses: These people struggle with hiding their emotions. 

Pigs are known for their hard working attitude towards everything. This year they will finally reap the benefits of all their hardwork. Some amazing opportunities will head their way because of dedication and honesty. This year will be all about optimism and only positive vibes.

Rat

Born in 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020

Strengths: Family-focused, clever and funny

Weaknesses: These people tend to be greedy with money. 

The dragon will bring in some extra luck for these signs. For all the rats, this year will be all about growth. Rat’s skill of being able to adapt to things will prove to be extremely helpful this year. 

Monkey 

Born in 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016

Strengths: Clever, problem-solver, inventor, trustworthy and playful

Weaknesses: These people struggle to commit and lack self-control. 

The year of the dragon will bring in many creative ideas and help boost careers for monkeys. It is all about making things happen for Monkeys. Even though some changes will come up, monkeys will quickly adapt.
