Sikandar star has recently been seen flaunting a jaw-dropping statement piece from luxury watchmaker Jacob & Co. These watches are not a usual timepiece but have a deep cultural symbolism in the fashion world. With a hefty price tag, the makers have tributed India in their limited edition category making the beyond luxury.

Jacob & Co. special watch worth ₹29 lakh

Jacob & Co. collaborated with Sikandar star Salman Khan to create a new timepiece celebrating global connection. The jewellery brand introduced the limited-edition “The World Is Yours” watch, featuring a distinctive design and vibrant colour options.

Before this collaboration, Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan were already seen wearing Jacob & Co. watches, including the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon. The design of the initial “The World Is Yours” dual time zone watch was inspired by Jacob & Co. founder Jacob Arabo’s father. This exclusive timepiece is priced at $34,000 USD (₹29,12,000).

The watch is presented in a custom turquoise box, symbolising Salman Khan’s iconic bracelet, a piece of jewellery he almost always wears. The watch is driven by the Manufacture Jacob & Co. Self-Winding JCAA14 calibre, comprising 206 components and 33 jewels, offering precision and elegance.

Why Jacob & Co. watches are so expensive? How is it different from traditional watches?

In comparison to traditional dual-time watches, “The World Is Yours” design allows for a wholly independent hour and minute setting, this makes it especially practical for time zones with unique offsets, like India’s GMT +5:30.

“The World Is Yours” watch showcases a domed, three-dimensional dial resembling a globe. Designed with global travellers in mind, it includes an adjustable dual time zone feature, a rarity in fine watchmaking, according to Jacob & Co.

The watch also celebrates India’s culture and flag with vibrant saffron and green accents. Its case back features a laser-engraved world map and the inscription “Salman Khan.” These intricate details make the timepiece both rare and highly valuable.

Another watch that celebs have been spotted wearing is Jacob & Co.’s Epic X Ram Janmabhoomi Titanium Edition, a watch that goes beyond timekeeping to honour Indian history and spirituality. Designed in partnership with Ethos Watches, this limited-edition piece features intricate engravings celebrating the iconic Ram Janmabhoomi site.

The watch is as remarkable in price as it is in craftsmanship, retailing at ₹34 lakh, according to the brand's website. It showcases the Ram Janmabhoomi temple with a design that reflects its architectural beauty and historical significance. The dial and bezel also feature engravings, including depictions of Hindu deities.
