40s is the peak age when your skin starts facing all kinds of skin problems, namely, wrinkles, pimples, pigmentation, scars, and many more. The 40s is the time you need to take care of your skin like it is your baby. For this, you don’t need a doctor or any such chemical products, which, in fact, has a lot of side effects. So, here are a few home-based tips to get glowing, soft, clean skin. Home-based treatments can take a while to treat your pimples, scars, pigmentation and other problems, but it is the safest, and it will make sure that you never ever get the same problem on your skin. Wash your face at least twice a day

When you venture out of the house, you are exposed to a lot of pollution and dust. Often, this dust sticks to your face, resulting in pimples and later acne. It is recommended that you wash your face at least twice a day - in the morning, and after you come home from work or before you go to sleep. Clean your make-up (if any) as soon as you're home. Keeping on your makeup all night can cause wrinkles, pimples, acne, and other skin problems. Get a good face wash which would suit your skin, or you can also use tomatoes, lemon, or turmeric for your skin. Use tomato and lemon together, make a mixture and apply the paste on your face and keep it on for 20 minutes and wash it off later. You can use the same process for turmeric.

Blackhead treatment

You tend to get more blackheads and whiteheads during your 40s. As a result, exfoliation is highly recommended. People in their 40s should scrub their face twice a week. Scrubbing helps you get rid of blackheads and whiteheads very easily. You can make your own scrub at home. This home-made scrub can be made out of coffee, turmeric, gram flour, etc.
