Ramzan 2025: The holy month of Islam started on March 1 in India. As a part of the rituals, observers keep a rigorous fast from dusk and dawn, during which they are required to abstain even more water. They open their fast, usually in a group, in what is known as Iftar. Some observers even host Iftar parties to break the roza together and organise a feast. If you are planning to host an Iftari party, take a look at the beverages you must include in your menu.

Ideal beverages for Iftar party

It is important to open one's roza in a way that provides nutrition and makes up for the fasting hours. Beverages make a big part of the menu, especially since observers abstain even from water during fasting hours. Take a look at the beverages that will not only elevate your party menu, but also provide attendees with good nutrition and taste.

Phalse Ke Sharbat: The month of Ramzan usually falls in the summer season or the cusp of season change. In such a weather, a drink made of phalsa - or tart berry - is not only tasty but also refreshing. Add the phalse ke sharbat to your party menu as it gives cooling properties and helps keep the heat at bay.

Lemon Mint Juice: The good old nimbu paani never goes out of style. The drink will replenish your guests with all the drained energy and also provide the much-needed hydration.

Kesari Malai Lassi: If you want to add a punch of taste to your party menu, then include kesar malai lassi. Give the sweet, old lassi a twist by adding kesar, dry fruits, malai and curd. The cold beverage will provide the guests with taste and also keep their hunger at bay.

Falooda Sharbat: An iftari party classic is Falooda sharbat. The royal drink is prepared with milk, vermicelli, rose syrup, basil and is topped with ice cream. The beverage is cooling and refreshing, which makes it a perfect Iftar savoury.
