What is protein?

Protein is also known as a macronutrient. It is required by the body in larger amounts when compared to vitamins and minerals. Protein comprises amino acids. When the body digests protein, the amino acids are used by the body to manufacture important proteins in your body. What is fiber?

Fiber is a form of carbohydrate which is made up of the indigestible parts or compounds of plants that pass unchanged through the stomach and intestines. In simple words, fiber is important to keep the digestive system healthy and is known to control blood sugar level and is therefore beneficial to fight and control diabetes. Fiber-rich diet also makes us feel fuller and help in digestion, preventing constipation.
