The increase of pollutants in the air is proven to be unsafe to mankind, especially kids. According to reports, 45.6% of the air around you is toxic during Diwali. Hence, it becomes important to keep your kids safe from the pollution during Diwali. 1. Keep ferry lights or diyas away from your baby’s eyesight 

According to medical reports, babies usually get attracted to bright lights or diyas which can turn fatal for them, leading a few problems with their eyesight. So to keep them on the safer end, place your diyas at a safe distance, far away from them. Also, the flickering radiations from the ferry lights is a also said to be harmful to the baby's eyesight.

2. Drink lots of water

As much you try to keep your windows shut, the noise emerging through the crackers still hits your house. One may notice that even if the doors and windows are shut, there is smoke in the house. It is very important to keep your kids hydrated during this time. In a video posted by one of the renowned doctors on Youtube, he shared that the intensity of the noise is way too much for the babies and hence, keeping them hydrated would prevent their heart from beating faster.
