Stomach fat has the power to lower your self-esteem. More than that, it harms you physically and deteriorates your mental health. We have compiled some of the easy and effective exercises to implement if you want to reduce belly fat.


1. Crunches before munches 

This exercise helps stomach fat burn faster than most of the exercises. Lie down, bend your knees, lift your hand and place behind the head. Inhale, lift the upper part of your body off the ground, and exhale. Repeat this process ten times when you are a beginner. Target to complete at least two sets in a day for visible results.

2. Jogging before hogging 

Jogging will not directly focus on reducing your belly fat, but it will help tone out the muscles. Hence, reducing fat from the sides and other parts of the body such as thighs. This will make you adapt to the active lifestyle and shun lethargy faster. Moreover, it does not harm to warm up and jog during intervals between your work schedule.

3. Rolling Plank Exercise

A rolling plank helps with your abdomen, lower back and hips too. Lie down, position your knees and elbows on the ground. Keep your neck aligned with the spine and look forward. Slowly, lift the knees, and let your toes support the legs. Keep breathing normally while contracting the knees. This is called the plank pose. Stay in the same position for about 30 seconds and then move to and fro for the same duration. Lie down sideways and try to balance your body on the right elbow and right leg. Make sure your elbow is in the right angle to your shoulder and the left leg is above the right leg. Do not let the hip touch the ground. Hold yourself in this position for 30 seconds initially. Later on, increase the duration of staying in this posture.

4. Walk and talk 

This is one of the most underrated exercises and yet one of the best ways to burn unwanted fat. Walking is a slow but effective way to lose weight and belly fat. If you try to change your lifestyle by eating greens, walk at least 30-45 minutes daily. Changes in your body will be visible super-soon. The brisk walk has the potential to raise your stamina, metabolism and heart rate. For beginners, this is a highly efficient cardio work out.
