Every eye colour and eye shape is unique. Eyes make up an integral feature in a person's face, and so do the eyebrows. Eyebrows are an element of your face that majorly contributes to framing your face and giving an instant lift. Gone are the days for brows thin as a string. If you are not one of those people who are naturally gifted with fuller eyebrows, do not worry. We got you covered!

We have a five-step routine from Kristie Streicher, the brand ambassador of Hourglass cosmetics and the brow guru from Hollywood. Her clientele includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Adele, and Mandy Moore and many more.

Simple Steps to get fuller eyebrows with makeup

Step 1: Let your eyebrows grow to shape them

Your eyebrows need to be a bit thicker for getting a fuller eyebrow look. Thin eyebrows will take precision to be filled. If you are somebody who has thin eyebrows naturally, avoid tweezing, threading or waxing. When you tweeze your eyebrows regularly, it can also lead to hair follicle damage. So let them grow and then proceed with the hair removal procedure of your choice or just let them be.

Step 2: Brush it with a Spoolie brush

Spoolie brush is a brush that looks like a mascara wand. Take the brush and start brushing your eyebrow in the upward direction. This will help you to understand the shape of your eyebrows. Here is Kristie’s take on the importance of brushing your eyebrows upwards. She says, “It (brushing your eyebrows with a Spoolie brush) helps me see the natural hair pattern. It’s amazing what a difference brushing can make in shape. Brushed down, they can look so skinny.”

Step 3: Figure out the shape and arch point

An arch in your eyebrows frames your face better. Take a brow pencil or a brush that has a straight-line shape. Now place the brow pencil near the end of your nostrils in a straight line. The other end of the brow pencil is the starting point of your eyebrow. Now place the pencil at the same point of the end of the nostrils, and the other end should be across the pupil, which will be your arch point. Again, place the other end of the brow pencil at the end of your eye. This is where your eyebrow should ideally end.

Step 4: Start filling in with a brow pencil

Use a pencil to start filling the eyebrows. Make small strokes where the hair is sparse. Start filling in the direction of the natural hair growth pattern. In the eyebrow tutorial/interview, she stated, “Seeing every hair in place like it’s drawn in looks contrived, and to me, it’s not pretty. I think it is okay when it is not perfect. It’s so hard to maintain. What if you want to jump in a pool and do a cannonball?”

Step 5: Apply a brow gel to set the eyebrows

Kristie prefers using coloured brow gel at night. A brow gel will help in setting your eyebrows. Let us take a Parisian take on the fuller brows. Parisian fashion icon Jeanne Damas prefers to use a transparent brow gel on her eyebrows to give it a natural look. There you have it all the steps to achieve the fuller brow look.
