On World Heart Day, here's Dr Ramakanta Panda's heart health advice for people of all ages

On World Heart Day, Republic has collated the advice of India's leading cardiac surgeon Dr Ramakanta Panda who has shed great light on the topic of heart health

On the occasion of World Heart Day, Republic has collated the advice of India's leading cardiac surgeon, Dr Ramakanta Panda, who had shed great light on the topic on the occasion a year earlier. The Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Asian Heart Institute (AHI) in Mumbai, Dr Panda is also a Padma Bhushan awardee.

Dr Panda spoke about the good practices one should follow for a healthy heart, some of the most common warning signs of heart disease, dangers of sitting for very long hours, on whether elderly people should push themselves while they exercise, and so much more.
