Organising your wardrobe can be really hectic, but it is an import task. Divide all your items into two categories: usable and redundant. Donate the items which you cannot get any more use out of and separate them from the stuff you wish to keep. After that, segregate your clothes into piles of bulky clothes, hanging clothes, small items and folding clothes. This will help set up your wardrobe. The whole idea behind organising your wardrobe is to find what you need when you are in a rush and do not have much time. Hangers, racks, storage boxes and hooks are a few items you will require to organise your wardrobe:

Compartments for smaller items:

Smaller items like pairs of socks, ties, undergarments must be kept separately from all the other clothing items. They are easier to find when they are kept together in a separate space or storage compartment. A wardrobe looks much more organised and neat when the small things are kept neatly away from piles of clothes.

Hanging space depends on your clothes’ length

Long clothes, like dresses or coats, must be hung in long horizontal spaces. This maintains their crease and clothes are not stuffed in together. Shorter clothes like jackets, shirts, and tops can be hung in smaller hanging spaces. Bulky clothes, like knitted sweaters, tend to stretch on hanging and take up a lot of space, that is why it is best to keep them folded in separate shelves. Trousers and jeans should either be hung separately in hangers or kept folded in.
