While the arrival of the southwest monsoon in Maharashtra brought relief to the state, particularly in areas enduring intense heat, heavy showers in Pune on Friday has made people look for ways to stay protect  themselves from unpredictable weather conditions. The pre-monsoon spells have already triggered over 29 incidents of trees falling according to a PTI report.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be cloudy weather from 9th to 14th June and there will be moderate rain. Out of these, there is a chance of rain with thundershowers tomorrow on June 9. The Indian Meteorological Department, Pune has also said that it may rain two to three times a day during the three days between 12 to 14.
