2. Kalsubai trek:

Mount Kalsubai is located at a distance of 12 kilometers from Bhandardara. The Kalsubai peak is a small plateau that offers a commanding view of nearby forts located there and a view of the Bhandardara Dam too. The Kalsubai Temple is situated at the topmost peak of the Sahyadri mountain range of Maharashtra, making it one of the most go-to trekking places in Maharashtra. The ideal season to conduct this trek is during the rains, or maybe post the rainy reason when the temperature gets cooler.

3. A trek to Bhandardara:

A trek to Ratnagad fort near Bhandardara is worth visiting if you want to catch a glimpse of tiny waterfalls and lakes in between lush green plains. Usually, people prefer driving to this destination and then going upwards for a trek to the Ratnagad fort. This place has become one of the favourite hangout and photoshoot destinations in Maharastra. 4. Trek to Garbett Point, Matheran:

Matheran has a few hidden destinations that are worth visiting. Between the Garbett and Chowk points in Matheran, there is a garden of beautiful flowers that is a must-visit. Garbett point is at a distance of 5 kilometers away from Matheran railway station. A few stretches while ascending towards the Garbett plateau are quite steep, so one must visit this place during the pre-monsoon period. 

5. Harishchadragad fort, Igatpuri:

A trek to Harishchandragad fort Igatpuri tentatively is 6 hours at a stretch treck, but it is all commendable. It is preferably advised to visit this destination during the pre-monsoon period. The expedition of the breathtaking view will compel you to click endless photographs there. If you are lucky enough, you may get to see the circular rainbow 'Indravajra' in the western ghats of the Harishchandragad fort. Igatpuri is 120 kilometers away from Mumbai, you can reach quicker using the NH160 express route.
