1. Route 66, United States of America 

The most well-known route in the world is Route 66 which is located in the United States. It covers 3,939 km, and connects Midwest USA to the West Coast, from Chicago to LA. Along the way, Route 66 crosses the states of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. A lot of vibrant roadside attractions, beautiful landscapes, glimpses of the old America, small towns, good museums, and more are visible as you embark on a bike trip through the famous Route 66.

2. Ruta 40, Argentina

Ruta 40 is the longest road in Argentina. It is amongst the longest and busiest roads in South America. Ruta 40 stretches along 5,301km from Cabo Vírgenes up to Quiaca on the border with Bolivia. The route passes through some stunning scenery along because it runs parallel to the Andes mountain range with some sections passing by 20 national parks.

3. The South Island, New Zealand 

New Zealand’s South Island is one of the most beautiful places in the country. The length of the road is 2,100km. The South Island road starts and ends in the city of Christchurch. Along the way, one can journey north along the Pacific coast until reaching Nelson in the Cook Strait. The route gets more and more spectacular along the way, with no traffic and the smooth way to help make the journey more pleasant.
