The Pagoda

Located right beside the famous fun park Essel World, the Pagoda (worshipping place of Buddhists), is an excellent piece of architecture. The huge pagoda at the centre stands without any support and pillars. The pagoda also shows a short documentary depicting the building and the architecture of the Pagoda and art gallery which is worth watching.

Kwan Kung Temple

Kwan Kung in Mumbai is the only Chinese temple in Mumbai. It was built in 1919 for Mumbai's then Chinese community in Mazgaon near Dockyard Station. On a Chinese new year, Chinese families in India celebrate at this temple. Kwan Kung is the mystical Chinese god who is considered as a great teacher, politician, and a philosopher is worshipped here.

Taraporewala Aquarium

Taraporewala aquarium has been the centre of attraction for many. The aquarium includes Australian tortoise, sea turtle, tropical fishes, freshwater fishes like butterflyfish, parrotfish, eight blend fish and many more. One of the most unusual aquatic creatures is the seahorse which is rarely spotted even in the scuba diving sessions. The aquarium now has a 12-feet long and 180-degree acrylic glass tunnel, and also a special pool area where kids can touch fishes.

Banganga Tank

Located in the Walkeshwar Temple Complex of Malabar Hill, the Banganga is an ancient water tank of mythological and religious significance. This well-maintained tank has sweet water, despite being close to the sea. Not frequented by locals and tourists, it is now a popular haven for artists, poets, and filmmakers.
