Cold weather and hilly destinations are a perfect blend during vacations. Many tourist places today have gotten super expensive but a few destinations still remain pocket-friendly and breath-taking. 1) Khajjiar 

This place is absolutely breath-taking and during winters, it looks like a mini Switzerland. The snowfall during winter here is what attracts most people to this iconic spot. The other spots that you can visit when in Khajjiar are Golden Devi temple, trek on Rohtang pass, Solang Valley, visit Manu Temple, offer prayers at Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu temple. The beauty of this place is best experienced by visiting Khajjiar Lake and exploring the pristine beauty of the lake by strolling around.

2) Kufri 

Based in the small town of Shimla, this gorgeous winter place in Himachal Pradesh is one you should definitely not miss out. Many people say that Kufri is almost like visiting the snow paradise during winters. The annual winter sports festival is also held during the month of February here. When in Kufri, one must take part in the skiing competition, or go for some go-karting in the Kufri circuit.
