The drone-like flying taxi has been experimented in Singapore and is assumed to be put into use in the next two years. The Volocopter is self-driving, but it also had a human pilot for its test flights. It has 18 propellers and sufficient space for two passengers and their luggage. The futuristic city transport was tested for around two-and-a-half minutes over water around Marina Bay. Its producers hope that the technology will help to ease polluting traffic in major cities and transform the commute of the future.
