Bahadurgarh: In a shocking news, multiple bullets were fired at INLD Haryana chief and former MLA Nafe Singh Rathee's car, injuring three, killing Rathee and a party worker. According to our sources, three security personnel are in a critical state and have been admitted to Brahmashakti Sanjeevani Hospital. Three security personnel were also hit by multiple bullets. The incident happened near Barahi gate. The attackers had come in an I-20 vehicle, as per our sources.

Police have started investigating the case on the spot. Rathee was hit in the neck and the waist, according to our sources. Rathee, along with his gunmen, was travelling in a Fortuner. Rathee has also been the Chairman of Bahadurgarh Municipal Council twice and is also the National President of Wrestling Association (Indian Style).

"INLD leader Nafe Singh and Jai Kishan were brought dead to the hospital. There were multiple gunshots, including to the neck, backbone, thigh, and shoulder. The cause of death was sudden vessel damage and blood loss," said Dr Mumish Sharma of Sanjeevni Hospital.

Rathee has been MLA twice and had also contested Lok Sabha elections. He was also the state president of the former Haryana MLAs Association. Rathee has also contested the Lok Sabha elections from Rohtak seat once.

INLD leader Abhay Chautala told news agency PTI that a party worker was also killed in the incident, adding that there was no police security given to the 70-year-old. Chautala raised serious concerns over Rathee's security, demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Chautala wondered why Rathee's security wasn't upgraded even after he was facing threats. Expressing disbelief, senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda claimed that the law and order in Haryana is worsening day by day.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said that he has instructed officials to look into the incident while declaring that the Special Task Force (STF) has also joined the investigation.
