1 Lakh Youth in Politics: PM Modi’s Masterstroke to End Dynasty Politics

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled his visionary plan to bring 1 lakh youth into Indian politics, asserting that "Youth's involvement in anything can break all barriers," at the Republic Plenary Summit 2025 - The Limitless India. This marks PM Modi's masterstroke to end the decades-old dynasty politics in India.

PM Modi has time and again condemned dynasty politics, calling it a threat to democracy, governance, and meritocracy. He warned that it hinders India's progress and development. During the 2019 Lok Sabha election, while addressing a gathering of BJP workers, PM Modi said, "The Congress has a 'family-first' attitude. They have no faith in the masses, and they have no belief in democracy. Everything revolves around one family. This is what destroys the democratic fabric of the country."

Speaking as the chief guest in the mega event, PM Modi on Thursday spoke of bringing Indian youths into politics and those youngsters should be first-timers in their family to be involved in politics.

At the Republic Plenary Summit 2025—Limitless India, Prime Minister Modi said, “I want to bring 1 lakh youngsters into politics,” and noted that the youth “should be first-timer in their family to get into politics.” 

“Youngsters don't know what the headlines of the newspapers used to be prior to 2014. There used to be scams amounting to Rs 10-12 lakh crore.” PM Modi added.

Taking about the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2029, PM Modi said, “When that youngster goes and casts his vote in 2029, he won't have any basis for comparison”

Bharat's X Factor: PM Modi's Vision for Future

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his vision for India's future, explaining the "X Factor" driving the nation forward. He stated, "The youth are the biggest stakeholders in a developed India, they are today’s X factor for India’s growth."
