Space X Rescuing NASA Astronauts:
SpaceX's Crew-10 launched into space Friday to bring home two NASA astronauts who have been stuck at the International Space Station (ISS).
A SpaceX Dragon capsule carrying four astronauts, including Starliner test pilots Sunita Williams and Barry "Butch" Wilmore, undocked from the ISS at 1:05 am ET (5:05 am GMT).
The spacecraft is expected to splash down off the coast of Florida at around 6:00 pm ET after a 17-hour journey. Mission managers will determine the exact landing site based on weather conditions.
Sunita Williams' Homecoming:
After spending over nine months aboard the International Space Station (ISS), NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore are finally set to return to Earth today.
Their mission, originally planned to be much shorter, was extended due to technical issues with the Boeing Starliner spacecraft. Williams and Wilmore were initially scheduled to return aboard the Starliner, but propulsion failures made the craft unsuitable for re-entry, leaving them stranded on the ISS.
Meanwhile, American astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov arrived on 16th March aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon to replace them.
