Debate With Arnab: Yogi Adityanath has made a strong statement. One that several leaders refrain from making. But not Yogi Adityanath, who has been vocal about Hindu unity several times in the past. The Uttar Pradesh CM has claimed that if 'Hindus are safe in UP, so will the Muslims.' CM Yogi Adityanath cited cases of Hindu minorities being persecuted in countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh, and highlighted how Muslim minorities in Uttar Pradesh are safe living in Hindu majority areas. Contrastingly, he questioned if Hindus living in Muslim majority areas are safe enough. While the majority across India back the UP CM's statement and say that Yogi is accurate in what he has claimed, the opposition cries foul and claims that these are divisive politics at play.
