It's been a challenging week for NBA coaches as a new wave of COVID-19 infections sweep the league.

Dozens of players have been placed in the league's COVID-19 protocols, upending rosters and forcing the postponement of several games.

"It's nerve wracking from everybody," Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr told the media on Monday.

"It's tough to be back in this state, but tough for everybody all over the world."

And the Warriors coach is not the only one feeling a sense of deja vu.

"We're moving out of this and then all of a sudden it hits again," Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said on Monday.

"I think when your expectation is that it's not going to be like that anymore, that's the hard part. "
