NBA news: Los Angeles Lakers' Kyle Kuzma leaves the game with a bloody eye

Kuzma has been a good support to LeBron James and Anthony Davis this season, averaging at 14 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this season. His scoring average has gone from 16.1 to 18.7, but his three-point shooting percentage has dropped to 30.3% from 36.6%. Even though his playing time has increased, he has also recorded one less rebound with every game (6.3 to 5.5). Kuzma was also sidelined at the beginning of the season because of a foot injury he suffered from. He injured his foot while playing with Team USA ahead of the 2019 FIBA World Cup. Even though Davis and James have been performing consistently, Kuzma’s absence could affect the team’s score as he contributes to scoring some points in each game, taking some load off James’ and Davis’ shoulders.
