NBA 2019-20: LA Lakers bag eighth win by defeating Phoenix Suns 115-123

Los Angeles Lakers registered a 123-115 victory against Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, November 13. Here are the player ratings for the Lakers vs Suns NBA game.

The Los Angeles Lakers triumphed over the Phoenix Suns 123-115 on Wednesday, November 13. The match was held at the home of the Suns, Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Anthony Davis was the top scorer for the Lakers with 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. He made 52.9% shots from the field and 83.3% of his shots were free throw attempts. Kyle Kuzma added 23 points. LeBron James followed with 19 points. Dwight Howard, Danny Green and JaVale McGee scored in double digits as well.

Ricky Rubio and Devin Booker scored 21 points for the Phoenix Suns. Aron Baynes added 20 points. Dario Saric, Frank Kaminsky and Cameron Johnson scored 18, 16 and 11 points respectively.

NBA 2019-20: Los Angeles Lakers vs Phoenix Suns match report

Though the Suns had a 29-26 lead as Q1 ended, the Lakers caught up and outscored the Suns 34-29 in Q2. James scored 9 of his 19 points in the first half. The Lakers went into the break with a 60-58 lead. Both Davis and Kuzma scored 11 points each in the second half. Green, McGee and Howard also scored in the second half. Baynes' free throw tied the game at 111-111 with 3:47 minutes left on the clock, but James' three-pointer combined with Kuzma's two consecutive three-pointers gave the Lakers a 120-113 lead with 1:40 minutes left. Davis' free throws gave the Lakers' the final two points of the game. The Suns could have come back, if not for a couple of missed three-pointers down the stretch.
