NBA: Lakers continue winning run; Ratings from the game against Heat

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers registered a 95-80 victory vs Miami Heat at Staples Center on Saturday. Here are the player ratings for the game between the teams

Los Angeles Lakers continued their winning streak after beating Miami Heat 95-80 at Staples Center on Saturday. Anthony Davis contributed with 26 points and 9 rebounds, while LeBron Jamee scored 25 points with 12 of them coming in Q4. For Heat, Jimmy Buttler top-scored with 22 points while Goran Dragic added 19.

NBA: Lakers vs Heat highlights 

LA Lakers returned home looking good after a 3-game winning run on the road which included tough victories over Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs. Miami employed a zone defence to apply brakes on Lakers' offence early on. But Lakers quickly made adjustments to their game and moved the ball effectively, picking up 25 assists on its 33 baskets in the first three quarters.

Jimmy Butler scored 9 points in Q3 to keep Miami Heat within touching distance of Lakers. The point guard had a poor game from the 3-point range scoring 3-for-24 which included 11 consecutive misses.

The Lakers though held Miami to one field goal and 6 points in the final 8:54, limiting the Heat to 6-of-35 shooting on 3-pointers and outrebounding them 48-37. LeBron James then sank in a pair of 3-pointers in the final minutes of the game to seal another victory for Lakers.
