NBA stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson and several of their Golden State Warriors teammates took part in a protest march in support of racial unity and justice in Oakland, California on Wednesday.

The Walking in Unity protest event was organised by Warriors forward Juan Toscano-Anderson and took place around the city's Lake Merrit area, where the team held parades and rallies afer winning its four recent NBA championships.

Other Warrriors players including guard Damion Lee and forward Kevon Looney also participated in the march, part of nationwide protests against racial injustice and police brutality in the wake of the killing of an African-American man George Floyd by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
