"Skinny Melo" - Blazers' Carmelo Anthony slims down to play small forward

As pictures and videos popped up over the first week of the Portland Trail Blazers' practices in Orlando, Florida, a new version of Carmelo Anthony emerged, "Skinny Melo."  Speaking to reporters on Friday, Anthony said, "Every summer it's a different name for me, this summer is Skinny Melo."

Anthony is noticeably slimmed down from what he looked like during the season.The change was sparked by an anticipated position change from the power forward position he adjusted to playing in Oklahoma City, to small forward upon the returns of big men Jusuf Nurkic and Zach Collins at Portland.
