A smashing unbeaten century by Chris Lynn (113*) took Lahore Qalandars over the line as they book a spot in the semifinals of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Lahore on Sunday.

Multan Sultans, who are already in the semis, struggled early when they slumped to 4 for 2 but former England international Ravi Bopara helped in a minor recovery.

A rearguard dash by Khushdil Shah, who scored 70 off 29 balls, gave the Sultans a fighting total, 186 for 6.

Pakistan international Fakhar Zaman and Australian Chris Lynn smashed a century partnership with Zaman contributing 57 off 35 balls.

Lynn crashed eight 6s and twelve 4s in his unstoppable innings as the Australian, quite predictably, hit the winning runs with his eighth and final six.

Lahore Qalandars now qualify for the semifinals and will play Karachi Kings in the first of the semifinals on Tuesday.
