Rohit Sharma continued on his merry way as he slammed his 3rd hundred of the ongoing series against the Proteas in Ranchi. The India opener started cautiously but put the pressure on South Africa bowlers in the 2nd session by taking the attack to them.
Former Cricketer Mohammad Kaif was the first from the cricket fraternity to congratulate the star opener.
What a joy to watch the class of #RohitSharma . 3rd century of the series and I would rate this as his best. pic.twitter.com/KZlxVb57p1

And a brilliant display of shots enroute to his 6th test ton.
Well played Hitman. Just thrash your critics the way you have been doing it all these days. 👏👏👏❤️🔥 @ImRo45 @BCCI @IndianCricNews
#RohitSharma is a player who's developed Test match style batting in ODI and T20s first and then introduced to test cricket and now he's reaping rewards of his style of batting. The Talented #RohitSharma is now successful test opener (atleast in India). #INDvSA

100 run partnership between Rahane and Rohit
Indian middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane also brought up his 21st half-century and fueled India's inning. Having lost opener Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara and skipper Virat Kohli early in the first session, Rohit Sharma along with Ajinkya Rahane steadies the innings for India. The 150 run partnership between the two fuels the score forward as India crosses the 200 mark after lunch.
